Hi there!
Today sees the publication of my latest Minerva Crafts Blogger Network post and I am unutterably thrilled with this one!
I chose to get some of this incredible Art Gallery Fabrics rayon; it was the print that sold me (shocking, right?) but when it arrived, oh, the feel of that fabric!!! Picture me smitten!
I chose to pair this with the Deer and Doe Melilot, the perfect match for this more delicate fabric as it guides you through using French seams throughout. I combined that with self made bias to finish the hem and it’s ended up feeling like a truly special garment.
I mean, clearly it’s basically a Hawaiian shirt, but no f***s are given here! Also, you know how much I like a sewing gadget and I did get to use a lot here!
This is my third Melilot (1 and 2 here) but I am no less in love with it! I just need the sun to come out!
Head on over to Minerva for full details of the make (and get hold of some of this incredible fabric if you possibly can!)

The fabric and buttons were provided to me free of charge in return for my review. All opinions are my own.

I adore this fabric! But I just made a melilot in a very similar tropical rayon, so I don’t think I can justify such a similar print (unless I see it on sale somewhere maybe…….!)
