Sew Up North 2019 – raffle sponsors part 1

It’s now around a month until this year’s Sew Up North event. Once again, I’ve been blown away by how quickly tickets were snapped up; thank you so much for your enthusiasm, everyone!

If you didn’t manage to grab a ticket, you can still register for the waitlist and if tickets are returned by others, you will be notified and given the option to claim a ticket yourself. If you want to do that, head to the Eventbrite page and click register.

I have been working away, sending grovelling emails around the sewing community looking for sponsorship and, as ever, the sewing businesses have been incredibly generous in their responses. So much so that I will be splitting these posts across a few weeks. I’ll be posting daily on the Facebook page and there will then be a weekly roundup post like this one. I’ll also be sharing on Instagram, so keep your eyes peeled and prepare to save some pennies for the raffle!

As a reminder, the raffle will be in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a fabulous cause which has helped so many people right across the county.

By Hand London create the most wonderful patterns, ranging from gorgeous party dresses through shirts, jersey tops, coats and jumpsuits. They have donated 3 pdf patterns to the pot.

Bobbins and Bolts is both an online store and a bricks and mortar location in Harrogate where, in addition to all the lovely fabric, notions and haberdashery, regular workshops and sewing socials are held. Gem has kindly donated a £25 voucher to the raffle.

CocoWawa Crafts have a range of sewing patterns with a unique sense of style. Ana has very kindly donated a copy of her Marshmallow dress pattern to our raffle.

My Handmade Wardrobe patterns are created by the ladies who own and run Crafty Sew and So in Leicester. Described as sewing patterns for the modern woman, the winner will select a pattern of their choice from the range.
