Hi everyone!
It’s time for another Sew Up North sponsor update. If you haven’t heard about Sew Up North, head over to Facebook for all the details of the free event in Leeds on June 24th.
When we started publicising Sew Up North on Instagram, Sheona contacted me. She has just launched her wonderful sewing business, Sewisfaction, selling glorious fabrics and haberdashery online and also offering in person tuition. She sent me a few pictures of her fabrics; tempted to browse yet?
I succumbed on launch day to three glorious fabrics; the first, the See You At Six rayon, was used for my Deer and Doe Hoya, which I absolutely love.
Anyway, Sheona offered to be doubly generous. She has provided us both with a discount code for goodie bags (15% off, valid for a month fro the event) AND with a £30 raffle prize. Believe me when I say I am REALLY saving up for raffle tickets at this point! And of course, it’s all for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which is a fabulous cause.
So, if that tempts you to join us and you haven’t signed up yet, please let us know you’re coming so we know how many goody bags to make up. Over 90 people have signed up so far, so even if you’re thinking of attending alone, there will be lots of people to talk to, and sewists really are the friendliest people I’ve ever met!
Sheona, thank you so much, you are awesome!
See you in June?
