Sew Up North sponsors: round 3!

Hi there!

So we’re back again today with yet more sponsors for our charity raffle for Sew Up North.

As I’m sure you know, the event has currently sold out and we do have a waiting list for tickets; you need a ticket if you want to join us at the final venue for the fabric swap and raffle (and more chatting!) thanks to health and safety requirements so please, please do let us know if you have a ticket but your plans change.

Anyway, on to more good stuff!

So, from our next round of amazing sponsors, we have the following goodies being added to the prize pool and your day!

Love Sewing

Love Sewing magazine

I’m sure you’re all well aware of Love Sewing and its fantastic content for sewists, whether you be a dressmaker or a quilter.  Amy and the team have generously donated 4 books to the prize pool, including the fab new book from Wendy Ward (OK, I’m biased, I was on the blog tour but it genuinely is a great book), A Beginner’s Guide To Sewing With Knitted Fabrics. There’s also a copy of each of Complete Guide to Dressmaking, First Time Garment Fitting and Handmade Living.

Fabricate

Fabricate Roberttown

Fabricate is a lovely little independent shop based in Roberttown, not too far from Ikea if you’re heading that way.  You can read all about them in the current issue of Love Sewing. As well as a great range of fabrics, patterns and haberdashery, they run a range of courses and Philippa has donated a place on a workshop of the winner’s choice to the prize pool.

Beyond Measure

Beyond Measure

Beyond Measure is a wonderful online shop stocking all kinds of beautiful goodies, be it japanese embroidery needles, leather scissor cases, hand turned wooden pin cushions or other such fabulousness.  Grace has once again kindly supported us and has donated a £20 voucher for her online shop to the pool.

Girl Charlee

Girl Charlee

Girl Charlee specialise in stretchy fabrics of all kinds. Whether you’re after lovely french terry, ponte roma, spandex or single jersey, they stock a wide range of plains and distinct prints.  Mark and the team have donated a £25 gift card to the prize pool and will also be offering a 15% discount to attendees: details will be included in the email that will be sent out to ticket holders prior to the event.

Like Sew Amazing

Like Sew Amazing is a new online fabric and haberdashery store run by Sarah, who stocks a carefully curated range of fabrics, haberdashery and patterns.  As a long time blogger and sewist herself, Sarah has an eye for fabrics that you really want to sew with. She has kindly donated a £25 voucher for her site to the pool.

So there you have it! Lots more reasons to save a few pennies for the raffle.  Just for info, tickets will be on sale on the day for £1 each, so save a few coins when you’re shopping!
