Hi there!
It’s been a couple of weeks now since Sally and I announced the next Sew Up North date, and we’ve been so excited to see so many people signing up on Eventbrite (43 people signed up as I type!) If you haven’t signed up yet, do bob along to the website and let us know you’re coming. We’re hoping it will be an even better day out than last time, and to help that along, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes.
One of the things we’ve been doing a lot of is grovelling! This is both because we want to get everyone who turns up the very best goody bag and because we want the best chance of raising lots of pennies for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by having amazing raffle prizes.
We’ve been remarkably successful (and I will definitely be buying many raffle tickets!) and are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated so far. In order to thank all of our lovely sponsors properly, we thought we’d post a short blog post about each one separately, thus giving them lots of lovely attention and thanks for being so amazing.
So without further ado, our first promised raffle prize is from Minerva Crafts. As I’m sure you know, their online store stocks an absolutely incredible range of everything you could need for a spot of sewing. In support of the YAA, Vicki has once again promised us a £100 fabric bundle for the raffle.
For those of you who weren’t there the first time around, I can tell you that this is a LOT of fabric. Here’s a photo of Sally cuddling the bundle last time around, before she was forced to hand it over to the raffle winner.
See? Wouldn’t that be a fabulous thing to take home?
We’ll be sharing more details over the next few weeks of our other fabulous discounts and prizes, but for now, thank you Minerva, you are awesome!
See you there?
Becca x
I’ve just signed up. It’s my first one so I’m very nervous but it sounded too good to pass! 🙂
